Hello, my name is Paul Ingamells and I am a candidate for position 4 on the Alvin ISD school board.

I have been actively involved in the district since my children first enrolled in AISD schools in Shadow Creek Ranch six years ago. During this time, I have had the privilege of working at both the individual school level and at the district level. This has provided me with a unique perspective on the district. I believe that a perspective such as this is required for anyone to help lead the district as it charts its course into the future.

In addition to my experience within the district, I also bring 25 years of business experience to the job. I fully understand the importance of fiscal responsibility, especially in these uncertain times.

Most importantly, I strongly believe that the main goal of the district should be to provide a quality education to all students. After graduation, our children will be competing in a global economy and the job of our schools is to teach them the skills they will need to compete and succeed.
